Next to reading, my next favorite thing to do is craft. I have all kinds of things I like to do, and therefore have ALOT of WIP (works in progress), or ideas written down of things, and patterns gathered of things I want to do eventually. My interests are pretty broad. I'm not necessarily great at it all, but I enjoy doing them. Anyway, I figured I would start posting about them more.
The project I'm about to start on is called the Babette Blanket, found on the Interweave Magazine website here: http://shop.interweave.com/Babette-Blanket-P235C59.aspx
As soon as I saw it I wanted to make it. There are all sorts of different color versions of it that people have made that have been uploaded onto flickr. I saw this one and may make it in these colors next. It makes me think of a sunset, the colors are so beautiful together!
But these are the colors I have decided on first. I'm really into teal and brown, blues and greens right now (as you can tell from my background). That darker blue is more teal in person. I figure this will be a good project to work on while on our Roadtrip (11 more days left!)
I hope to show some good progress when I get back. I think if I post about my projects, then I'll be more likely to finish them sooner with you all to be accountable to! Haha- tell me what you think!
